I stand against “xenophobia” meaning “an attitudinal orientation of hostility against non-natives in a given population” (United Nations).
Simply put, xenophobia is the fear and hatred of foreigners by host populations of a society or country.
Xenophobia is a form of racism, bigotry, nationalism, hatred, prejudice and exclusion.
Xenophobia is dangerous to social cohesion, leads to civil and political unrests and must be condemned unequivocally.
I stand for human rights, justice, fairness and non-discriminatory treatment of all persons regardless of their nationality, skin colour, gender, sexual orientation, social and political status, religion and all other socially ascribed or physiological differences.
#stop xenophobia
#Stop bigotry
#stop discrimination
#stop inhumane and degrading treatment of foreigners and all persons.
Be kind and treat people fairly and without any distinction of any kind. Treat others as you would want for yourself.
